Open-Source Library
This collection contains 50 context-relevant age-appropriate for early childhood readers. WE-CARE Foundation, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Liberia, developed these readers to address the need for quality teaching and learning materials and the widespread lack of these materials crucial to enhancing foundational literacy and developing the habit of reading in young children. Twenty-five of these readers are Liberian stories written by the Early Childhood Education (ECE) master trainers. The other 25 were taken from global online open-source digital libraries and contextualized to Liberian stories.
The collection has an accompanying sign language version and audiobook file to encourage inclusivity.
